***NEED AN ANSWER***
My appointment was scheduled for 1 pm. Does that mean you’ll be here right at 1?
We always aim to be just a few minutes early to the appointment. If we get behind on schedule on prior groom appointments, we will let you know immediately. We ask for the same courtesy and consideration from our clients - if you are running late, just reach out and let us know.
Your prices are considerably higher than other companies I’ve used before. Is that normal? Why is that?
As a company we’re committed to ensuring our groomers earn a fair wage and are treated as employees rather than contractors. Our prices reflect that commitment to them. We aim to use the highest quality of vans (mostly Mercedes Sprinters) and equipment - certified and safe outfitting provided by Wag'n Tails or Hanvey. These are the industry gold standards. We also use the highest quality of shampoos, conditioners, cutting tools, with regular cleaning and maintenance. Additionally we carry insurance costs to make sure any incidents and accidents are covered.
What payment methods do you accept?
We prefer credit and debit cards. We can also send you an online voice.
How long will the groom take?
A typical grooming appointment should take anywhere between 1 to 2 hours depending on your dog's size and breed. If your dog has never been groomed before, or there are issues (i.e. matting), then it can take longer. After our first grooming sessions, it is usually quicker going forward. The more we know about your dog, the better.
Do I need to be home during the grooming session?
Yes. At least when we first arrive and if it's your dogs first groom. If you have to run a quick errand, that is no problem at all. However, we do ask you or someone is able to take your dog back once we are done. We will never leave a dog unattended.
Are you able to work with older dogs?
We love our older clients and use the precautions and equipment necessary to ensure a safe and comfortable grooming experience. We can discuss the specifics during the booking process.
Do you groom puppies?
We love puppies and the sooner you can get your dog familiar with grooming, the better. When you book, we can discuss several things you can do at home to prepare them for their first groom.
