Pre-Groom Consultation

Let’s get to know each other! Your groomer will take a little extra time to get to know you and your pup before your first groom with Groombuggy.

This pre-groom consultation is more than a meet-and-greet. It sets the stage for a happy spaw day!

Belly Rubs First!

Your pup will receive a body scan evaluation so your groomer can get a feel for their coat, skin, nails, and ears. 

‍

This is the start of your pup’s one-on-one with the groomer. Belly rubs are included, of course!

Expectations

‍

During your pup’s evaluation, tell your groomer about any special needs or requests, additional  Spaw Menu items, as well as any health or behavioral issues.

‍

Based on your appointment request and today’s consultation, your groomer will give you a detailed cost estimate for every service before the groom begins.

‍

Your groomer will also let you know approximately how long the groom will take so you know how much time you have to relax and unwind while your pup enjoys a spaw day.

‍

Once your pre-groom consultation is completed, your pup is ready for the ultimate luxury grooming experience!

One last thing… The pre-groom consultation could reveal something nobody wants to deal with: that mobile grooming is not a great fit for every pup. Because mobile grooming is one-on-one, your groomer reserves the right to deny service due to excessive matting or sedation (view policy here), health issues, or aggressive behavior.
